Vintage Native American Turquoise Heishi Necklace — New Mexico Estate, Circa 1960s  Before fast fashion, before algorithm-curated everything, people wore jewelry that took time.  Hand-cut Royston turquoise heishi beads — the kind of labor-intensive work that doesn't exist in mass production — hand strung to a length of 17. The white tabs are spiny oyster shell in a fan pendant style, a design long associated with Santo Domingo Pueblo beadwork. Natural red coral accent beads sit near the clasp, finished with a hook-and-eye closure consistent with the era. The heishi is well-cut and consistent — not tourist-grade. This is a legitimate, well-made piece with real presence.
