These are 7 vintage mid-century (1953) Homer Laughlin plates in the Rhythm Yellow pattern. They have smooth, coupe shape and a solid canary yellow shiny glaze. Homer Laughlin China starting producing these in 1950. The plates have bottom stamp from the “Rhythm” line designed by Don Schreckengost in 1950. Backstamp Features the cursive Rhythm logo, Homer Laughlin text, USA mark, and production code numbers indicating they were made in 1953. 1 has small rim chip. All the rest in smooth beautiful condition. No charge for the plate that’s chipped. Each comes to $5 per plate.
