Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Mid-Century Modern **Jeannette Glass Company Hellenic Blue Pedestal Candy Jar** complete with its original clear glass lid. Inspired by traditional neoclassical Wedgwood Jasperware, this stunning piece features an elegant Greek/Roman mythological motif transfer-printed in rich gold and white against a striking matte blue background.  The clear glass lid is finished with a striking, solid amber-gold glass finial knob and a fine gold-gilded rim. It makes a perfect statement piece for a retro bar, holiday hosting, candy display, or MCM vanity. Glass Body: Excellent vintage condition. The blue and white transfer design is crisp, bold, and vibrant. No cracks, breaks, or structural repairs.  The clear glass structure is fully intact with no chips or flea bites.  There is minor, standard vintage cosmetic wear to the gold gilding on the lid rim, including one distinct spot where the gold paint has rubbed away (please see the final close-up photo for exact detail). The glass underneath remains perfectly smooth and unharmed.
